Love this resort for the beach with calm water perfect for our little one, food choices are ok, the only draw back was the travel to Royal Sand for diner was a mistake due to limited free bus go back between 8:30 - 10:30 PM was too late, we took a taxi and they lied about the fee, the person at the restaurant told us it would cost $18 usd to get back to our resort Royal Cancun, and we have them call for us, then end up paid $40 usd the cab driver said the price was on the wall and he is working for the resort. We did not bother to make a scene due to our kids, it was just "bad taste in the mouth" when they did that to us. So we did stay at our resort for the rest of the trip. Lucky our trip was only 5 days, we would be tired of only 2 restaurants choices if it was longer stay. But the friendliness and services of staffs made up for it. Would love to brings kids back sometime in the future

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, organized resort. Many amenities are available for all ages of the family and the all inclusive is worth it. The ability to use the Royal Sands amenities is a plus. The staff is very friendly and great customer service.

The room space was great. Our family of 5 wasnt crowded. Everyone had their bed to sleep in! Pools were a little small. You can take a shuttle to royal sands which has a higher pool, more restaurants. Thats also where any live entertainment is n located. Nothing at thr Royal Cancun. The guys in charge of water equipment by the beach are amazing. Alex I believe took us on an awesome kayak experience through the mangroves for free, Charlie took us on an early snorkeling experience before the boats were out in the water for free! The most frustrating thing was having to always hand them your key card to eat, get drinks, any non motorized sporting equipment.

Only 2 cuisines available for an all inclusive. Not many vegetarian options. Kids club doesnt include English speaking friendly environment. Lots of bugs in rooms. Late response from room service.

Holiday inn is a perfect place to stay, the staff is great and the food is excellent.

A lot of space and 4 beds in our room. Palapa food had some winners, others not so much. Mondays coconut shrimp was so good. Buffet items hit and miss. Can always find something good or just go to sister resort, a little better and not open air.
