Was given top floor next to the lift motor room which was terrible. When we checked in we went to the reception to asked for a different room but thr male staff told us it is the staff personal lift and going to switched off.At 10pm arrived back to the room the whole night was a disaster, absolutely noisy and restarting lift pulley was a nightmare. Phone up middle of the night to made a complaint but was just ignored. How could this hotel manage to operate this room directly to the lift motor room.will never ever stayed here anymore but would request Expedia to made partial refund as we could not sleep but checked out very early.

Staff/Manager was terrible. We had an incident were electric fuse was blown out in the middle of the night. It was a bad connection and was not prior tested out. We were given another 2 rooms, for our family as they did not have another similar one available. We had to move our luggage in the middle of the night and to 2 different floors. Elevator is very slow. We had to go up and down to carry the stuff the next morning. We moved our valuables to next room, we were promised to keep the room until we get back the following day. However they cleaned out our new room, and moved us back to the original room and touched our valueables/passports from the new room. This was outrageous and on demand for explanation, they were like "We are helpful and tried to move to the new room" I would never stay here again.

We were a little disappointed with the room. I'd booked it for my husband's 60th birthday treat and felt the room was very small with barely any room to move past the end of the bed. It was also quite dark. Bathroom was tiny and shower over the bath with little room to move. I'm sure I asked for a walk in shower if possible as husband has mobility issues. The room was clean and tidy and a bonus had air-conditioning. Only problem was it made an intermittent annoying noise which kept me awake at night. Staff were very friendly apart from one of the maids who didn't acknowledge that we had let her pass in the stairs even though my husband had a stick and let her go first, she didn't even smile. Breakfast was nice.

Good for a couple nights and location was good

This was the best bed and bedding of our three week trip. I was very luxurious. We thoroughly enjoyed a great night sleep.

Arrived at 1600hrs to check in to be told due to maintenance, we have been relocated to sister hotel 35min drive away . We chose this hotel for its location , after some discussion they did find us a room at this hotel , however wish they hadn’t . It was dirty , cramped , old , wallpaper falling off the walls , blood on lampshades and curtains , bed was dipped meaning both people rolled into middle of mattress . AC was good ! But that’s the only thing . Breakfast was awful , not enough tables for capacity of hotel . Food basic , couldn’t eat hot breakfast , dirty plates and cutlery . Paid just under £200 for the night . Worst money ever spent . Please do not waste your money on this hotel .

Room was ok, couldn’t get the heating working but staff sorted it centrally in the end. The breakfast was terrible. I wouldn’t have breakfast here again. Huge queue, not enough space for everyone, running out of bowls, milk, cutlery. People watching over waiting for your table. We visited Feb half term and it was a busy time- they needed a booking system as their small breakfast room could not cope.
