Wonderful staff! Comfortable bed, clean, wonderful boutique hotel in an excellent, convenient location. Only a short block to the MRT station.

The hotel’s location is excellent and makes it very convenient to explore and enjoy traditional Taiwanese food nearby. The hotel itself is acceptable for the price—you generally get what you pay for. While the facilities are quite old, they are functional and meet basic needs. The staff are generally polite and provide reasonable service. However, when additional assistance is required, the response can sometimes be frustrating and less accommodating than expected. One point worth noting is that the laundry facilities are not complimentary, and guests are required to pay to use them. Overall, this hotel offers good value for travelers looking for a convenient location rather than modern facilities or exceptional service.

807 & 706 rooms were spacious, very clean, top grade sheets / pillows. The included breakfast was substantial, nutritious, varied and filling. The entire staff were very professional, helpful and provided excellent customer and direction to clarify singagev as I did not speak or understand Chinese. Also the rooms very sound proof / I highly recommend this property.

Everything is very GOOD.

We have zero complaints about this hotel. Room is spacious, clean and quiet. Bathroom is huge and clean. Sound proofing is excellent, we didn’t hear anything from outside our room beside thunder during a storm. The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood on a side street away from traffic and noise. Walking distance to the MRT and close to everywhere we wanted to go. Will definitely stay here again.

Short walk to the MRT and an excellent buffet breakfast. Had a bit of noise from the A/C on the top floor, but the staff was understanding and moved me to a nicer room.

Overall, great experience. The stuff is very friendly, location is convenient, and breakfast was tasty. The only thing might the typical humidity related smell, but it’s gone after one day of using the room.

We had good time in Taipei, one of the reasons was the comfortable stay at Forward hotel. The staffs were friendly and helpful, the location was ideal to many attractions, also very close to the subway which was great. The room was spacious but a little old and outdated, especially the bathroom. On the website, it indicated the 2024 remodeling, maybe only did in the common area. Overall we are happy with the choice.

Definitely a value for money hotel in Taipei! Although the room is slightly on the small side, but it has everything that we need. Even comes with a free simple breakfast that changes daily
