Awesome place at the heart of city

At 12:30 AM C'aAmadi courtyard gates were locked + there was NO SIGN identifying it. Desk is empty after 4 pm. You need to hire a porter to carry heavy luggage over two bridges. My apartment did not include toilet paper or clean towels, though I was staying just a few nights. "Kitchen" had only one teaspoon and the only pans had their non-stick coating scraped off. No counter space except for dish-drying area. No privacy: After dark you can see right through the curtains.

Lovely and clean hotel room. Close by and walkable distance to all the sightseeing monuments in Venice.

Excellent stay. Very quiet. Friendly staff. Beds are very comfortable. Great location from Rialto ferry platform.

Staying at Ca' Amadi was one of the highlights from our trip across northern Italy. It is tucked away in a quiet, private courtyard, which made sleeping and relaxing very easy. It's only a few steps away from a very busy stretch of shops, restaurants, cafes, and churches though, so we didn't have to travel far to enjoy Venice's nightlife or shopping. The room itself felt Venetian- beautiful glass light fixtures, tiled floors, large windows, etc. It was nice to feel like we were staying at a friends' house, and not a traditional hotel for the week. We'd love to come back again sometime.

Good stay

Stunning boutique hotel on canal with beautiful, charming decor like from a royal movie! Very comfortable and in great location. Google maps needs better location directions. Would stay there again!

We stayed in the delux room with canal view which was lovely. Hotel was very quiet and quite small, we didn’t see anyone else during our 2 day stay, although we did leave early both mornings. It was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the Rialto bridge water bus stop. Breakfast started at 9am so was too late for our early starts, but local coffee shops/ bakeries are easy to find. Would stay here again.

Rooms are charming and beautifully decorated. Great location close to Canal. Breakfast is priced reasonably. Staff friendly and approachable.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay here! Arriving was a bit confusing because Apple Maps shows the hotel on the wrong side of a canal. As others mentioned, there are stairs to lead up to the hotel, but that's how most of Italy is--especially Venice. The room was gorgeous and so was the view of the canal. The canal did get a bit noisy early in the morning because of delivery boats, so that's something to be aware of. We requested the canal view, so it was worth it for us. Also, Expedia promotes this hotel as having water dispensers and it does not. Thankfully, the tap water in Venice is safe to drink. Finally, the lobby was beautiful and stocked with yummy cookies. The one staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful with directions. If you do plan to eat breakfast, make sure to let them know ahead of time because it isn't served otherwise.
