Price was cheaper than other places in town. Reflected as it is an older hotel, but I really loved the nostalgic feel of it! Would stay here again. There's a free pool and hot tub across parking lot in their sister property. Place was well looked after and you felt like you were in a great place. Staff were available by text message for any questions. Was really helpful when I was booking a gondola ride. Location was nice, just outside of down town. Construction across the street might be a concern if your room faces that way possibly. You're likely only there for evenings, so I imagine not a concern for most. If it is, ask to be facing away and you won't hear anything. Seem to get a great view any direction, but might not if on bottom floor (I didn't go check to be certain). Free parking at hotel, underground parkade if under 6 foot available. Small fridge in room, but you may have to turn it up since mine was at minimum and barely chilled anything until I adjusted it at the back. Small coffee machine in room as well. Balcony was nice to be out and have a coffee and look at mountains. Found the place very quiet in evening. Could hear a pin drop in parking lot at 10 pm on a mid week night the week of August long which was an insanely busy week there. Lots of pamphlets and tourism stuff in lobby. I think there was coffee and milk in lobby, but didn't pay close attention.

The property was close proximity to the restaurants, some attractions and grocery stores. It’s an outdated structure but clean. Our room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable and the sheets smells clean and fresh. No AC in the hotel but for us, it’s comfortable without it especially at night. There’s fan provided in the room. The weather in late July and first week of August were okay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Naomi who helped us book a day trip and answered our questions.

Tired and shabby. The view of the river is ok but balconies all open so no privacy and full sun all Day with no sage. Noisy early as by a car park. Also you can heat your neighbours due to French doors and balconies being all side by side. Amazing location though.

Cheapest place I could find in Banff, clean and nice people, no ac but cool mountain air makes up for it, nice old place

Very dated.

The hotel is getting tired and rooms show this also. No counter space in bathroom for toiletries. All amenities are at a sister hotel next door including restaurants, Breakfast fee is the same as for non guests. The hotel room was very overpriced. There is a longer therm looking construction across the road, so were given ear plugs!!

Clean, had a balcony but ours did not face the river which I thought it was supposed to, ample parking but no air conditioning. They did supply a fan but if it had been any hotter outside, it would not have helped much.
