Great location, great breakfast. Staff was friendly, but not very attentive.

Location was great...5 to 10 minutes walk from Royal Mile, Grassmarket, and Edinburgh Castle. There is plenty of food options with asian noodles, Scottish food, plus Italian food. We travelled via train and its proximity to Edinburgh's Waverly station was awesome. The air conditioning was easy to manage...which was a relief especially since we were in the middle of a heat wave. The lobby staff were very helpful especially with the public transportation to Swanston Farm where we saw the Highlands cows (shout out to Noemi and David). Breakfast was good but wish they could change it up and have different offerings day to day. Our actual room was clean and quiet but just a bit smaller than we were used to especially for the price of $300+ per night. There was no water filling station but we found out Edinburgh water is sooo pure and nice tasting so we drank out of the tap. Also, the sofa bed was super super comfy...we could not feel the springs as all!! And as a family of 3, we have slept on a lot of sofabeds. Overall, I would stay here again!

Pretty great place to stay and close to everything! Easy to walk pretty much anywhere you want to go.

All staff were courteous and capable. Front desk folks went out of their way to assist. Noemi was great!

Shower door was not great to open and close easily. Mini fridge would be nice to keep snacks and cold water. Beds were not the comfiest but fine. Location was perfect great to access many sights.

Got put into an acessible room which was plenty big but was annoying due to flooded floor in bathroom due to no tub. The room lacked outlets near the bed and only had USB on one side. AC worked well. Breakfast was acceptable, good enough, but not great. Location was very good with short walks to all Royal Mile attractions.

Rooms were clean, staff were super helpful, but the rooms are VERY small. We had 3 people, with our son, in our room which means we needed the sofa bed. There was barely walking around room. For the cost I was surprised how small it was, but would stay there again. The staff had no problem holding our luggage for us after we checked out so we could get a chance to visit the castle. ( tickets were all sold out for the day, so we had to wait into the next afternoon)

We loved the location of the property. It was close to everything.
