My husband and I stay at this hotel everytime we travel to Vancouver.
The rates aren't as expensive as the ones downtown.
The hotel is located in Richmond and is right on the Skytrain line that goes directly to downtown Vancouver around 15-20 mins. Parking is plentiful and at no cost.
There a couple of restaurants in the hotel and a food court in the casino, and a small area where they serve drinks. I would be nice if they had a lounge where one could sit and have drinks and snacks. Otherwise, everything is great!

Fell in love with Vancouver and a huge part of that was the River Rock Resort. All the staff in this establishment were so friendly and helpful. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with their care and attention to guests. The casino was impressive, even to someone who lives in Las Vegas. Food choices on property with varied both in choice and prices. We loved sitting on the patio at the Chairman's Room overlooking the river having a local brew. Having the Canadian Sky Train across the street made access to downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, the Vancouver Airport, the Cruise Terminal, and so much more easy-peasy and extremely inexpensive.
