Great location, clean property and very kind and helpful staff

Very convenient locations and excellent front desk team

We had a perfect stay as part of an overnight transit between international flights. Perfect location and wonderful for children. The staff were excellent and amenities plentiful. Will definitely stay longer next time!

The apartment-style setup at Mimaru is a solid idea on paper, especially for families. But our stay did not deliver on the basics. The room had a severe, persistent odor from the moment we checked in. The hotel acknowledged the problem, tried a deodorizer, moved us to a second room, and the issue was still there. We ended up spending most of our time outside just to get fresh air. When we asked to cancel given the conditions, the hotel refused outright. To be fair to Expedia, they went to bat for us. Multiple agents followed up with the hotel and a supervisor ultimately approved a 10% credit. That effort is appreciated and worth acknowledging. The problem is that no credit gives back the time, energy, and family trip experience that was lost. Those don’t show up on a balance sheet. The hotel, for its part, denied any compensation and hid behind policy. That says enough. Would not return, and would not recommend until Mimaru takes habitability seriously and stands behind the guest experience rather than deflecting to fine print.

Friendly, helpful staff, location close to subway station with minutes of walking distance and a generally clean room. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with the small toilet room, plumbing or ventilation—the room was extremely smelly even when we move in on first day which made for an uncomfortable stay. Hope management addresses this odor issue.

The room locked exactly as what the photo listed. The staff was attentive and friendly to go through with us the check in process and we get to know they have same day luggage delivery service provided to the guests, we try the service as we was changing to disneyland hotel and it was efficient and fuss free! Will stay back when we visit tokyo again!

We loved staying at the Mimaru! The staff are consistently lovely and the hotels are always clean, welcoming and child friendly. Would recommend to friends and family in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing stay at Mimaru Tokyo Ueno Inaricho. Everything was perfect for us as a family of 3. The room was a great size with plenty of space to relax after a long day of walking. The location of the hotel is brilliant. The street that it is located on is quiet, but you are within a 15 minute walk to the heart of Ueno, and it is so well connected, with Ueno station about 10-15 minutes walk and Inaricho station about 5 minutes walk. It really is the perfect base to explore Tokyo. The front desk staff were so helpful and friendly and were always willing to offer recommendations for places to eat and the best ways to get around. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again when we return to Tokyo.
