Great location, but the room is not very soundproof and traffic noise can be heard.

Breakfast doesnt allow slipper, honestly why..?

Great location! Just a short walk from Ueno Station and the Ginza line was literally right next to the hotel. Less than 50 feet. The room was a bit small, but we expected that going in. It was perfectly serviceable. The onsite laundry was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing poor to say except we found much better accommodations in Tokyo for much better value

On a lower floor the sound of subway trains can be heard from below. How many rooms really have views of the Sky Tree? The photo is prominently displayed but there is no information when booking about which rooms have good views. The breakfast area is too small. The atmosphere was horrible. There were signs about congestion at both breakfast and for elevator use at certain times. The coffee and salad both were mediocre. They should open breakfast earlier to reduce congestion. Why should I waste my time because the hotel does not have more elevators? The hotel is overpriced. It is perhaps a small step above a business hotel. It is close to Ueno Station, but not as convenient as it seems and the best routes are confusing. The hotel website does not provide enough useful information.

The best thing about Mitsui Gardens is its location- steps from Ueno Station, a short walk to Ueno Park with museums, flea markets, performances, people watching, etc. and located in a vibrant neighborhood of shopping and restaurants. Our room was small, and the breakfast was ok. The staff was helpful.

Modern hotel, friendly staff helpful with both check and check out. Room was clean. Black out blinds worked very well. Room was a bit small for two people but hard to find many places with bigger rooms. Would stay again.

Great Location, literally over the road from Ueno Station and next door to the local metro line. We could walk to the Ameyoko Markets for dinner and a family mart was across the road. Check in/out was easy and staff organised our luggage forwarding for us. Our room was a reasonable size for Tokyo and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel location is super close to the train. It's also very clean! They provide fresh pajamas daily. The staff are so kind and professional. I love this place and will stay there again when I travel back to Japan!
