Every member of staff at this hotel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! From check in to departure they couldn’t have done any more, each of them were friendly and welcoming…a big thank you to them all.

There have been many reviews previously about how tired this hotel is and how desperately it needs to be refurbished and modernised. I find it very telling that the hotel has no Marriott Bonvoy signage or branding outside and within the hotel. The pool area is shabby as are the common areas, even reception is dark and uninviting. The junior suite we stayed in was a good size and with a lick of paint and the bathroom refreshed so the toilet is not in a dark cupboard like room, it would be lovely. Oh yes, a new softer mattress and less concrete looking balcony with less tatty furniture would be good too. One last moan would be to have proper coffee and teacups and glasses in the room as well as a bottle opener. I was astonished to only find cardboard cups in the room of a 4 star hotel. We did ask for some proper cups but they did not materialise so we gave up. This is such an easy fix. To end on a positive, the location is great, the parking is next door with a discounted rate from the hotel and lastly when the Hotel Nice Centre has some money spent on it, it will be fabulous.

We stayed in a renovated room which was lovely and the balcony had a great view, the pool was fantastic (but wasn't heated when we stayed in April).

We did not use the restaurant or have breakfast. Check in and out was easy and quick. Room although small was sufficient for a few nights accommodation. Easy walk to all areas of Nice.
