An amazing hotel . All the staff very helpful . Booked a tour through them and it was an amazing tour one they suggested I do , it was brilliant. Drinks at the bar good . Reception helpful . All the staff friendly

Not a 5 star hotel. Maybe 3.5 to 4.0 average score for service. The Good; Facility and cleanliness: 40 to 4.5. Doormen: 5.0 for taking care of baggage and incoming and outgoing guests to ensure they are catching their taxis or leaving their taxis. Restaurants: 4.5 to 5.0 excellent service and food options The Not So Good: Very basic issues with The Ambassador Hotel Pullman in Seoul: 1) No receipt available of hotel stay. Very basic data such as a daily room rate receipt not available upon check out. In other words, you have zero idea what you paid in Korean Won (KRW) vs your local currency (I.e., USD, EUR or GBP). This is a very simple ask yet the front desk assistant manager Jacob Ham sincerely could not disclose the simple room rates for my total stay and provide a KRW receipt due to it being against Pullman Ambassador Hotel Policy. I think that policy puts the hotel front desk at risk of being at many levels. Financial reporting is a critical part of the hotel stay. Yet the front desk staff have zero power to provide a basic receipt is not a 5-Star hotel practice. 2) Room Service: Rated 2-3 stars. The Room service Team on 3 occasions look terribly unprofessional and unhappy with their jobs when they slam the door when exiting the room after dropping off deliveries. They look they are mopping around and miserable from either poor management, poor training or understaffing. I cannot figure out why they look and behaved as they dislike their jobs.

Beautiful hotel and gracious hosts. One of the best hotels I’ved stayed in Seoul. And the view, amazing.

Changed rooms on the first night due to water pressure issues, and I also found dirty, used towels in the room when I checked in. I would have expected a 5-star hotel to thoroughly check the room before assigning it to guests. I also found it quite unreasonable that guests have to pay extra to use the outdoor pool. That said, the staff were very helpful and moved me to a new room without any issues, which I appreciated.

Requested a room view of the tower and was granted it for our entire stay. If you can get the view of Namsan Tower it is worth it, the room had a lot of great amenities. A quick tip, if you want faster internet connection, plug in via ethernet in the room, the WiFi is much much slower than the ethernet connection.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. My experience with them is terrible, and their service is far from five-star. The room wasn't cleaned properly on the first day. I went to the room, and it wasn't clean. I asked them to put air freshener in the room. On the second day, I was out all day and returned around 5:00 PM. The cleaning lady came and cleaned the room while I was there, and I accepted that. On the third day, I was out all day and returned at 4:30 PM. I didn't find the room clean, and I was very tired and needed to rest, so I set the "Do Not Disturb" button. Today, around 6:30 PM, I left and returned at 12:00 PM, and the room was still dirty. I left the hotel, and there wasn't a clean towel for me to use. The day before my departure, I asked them to extend my stay by one day because I had a trip the next day and needed to vacate the room before leaving. The receptionist told me they didn't have any rooms available. I went to work and booked another hotel, and the first one that came up, which was empty for five days, was the same hotel. I told one of the staff members about this and said that she lied and that this is unacceptable for a hotel like theirs. I will send a report and some photos to the hotel management because some of the staff are extremely rude.

The hotel is not located in the most central place there isn't shops around for easy access. The hotel it self is magnificent. I really did enjoy it. I had a pool view room which was beautiful. Beds are comfortable , the shower was great . Plenty of room space. House keeping was great. The hotels buffet initially was fantastic I am unsure if it's a standard but not one dish changed in the 5 days of breakfast which was really uninspiring and thereafter difficult to kind of look forward to. But if you know Seoul as shops open very late it's not a bad idea to fuel yourself before you kick start the day. The chef's really should review variation rather than standardisation. The initial spark ran out after 3 days. They charge you to use the outdoor magnificent pool but it's a must use. As nobody uses it's an empty shell. It's a pity party really. It's a beautiful space with a life guard. They have a complex ordering system for food if needed no ideal. Room service is very limited and expensive, so is laundry . Will I stay here again . maybe a day or 2 . It's not got the location and money for value I am after. But overall It's a beautiful hotel.
