We are a family of 4 who spent a week in Seoul, touring the city and its nearby sites. Novotel met all our needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel is closed to a subway and a night market around the corner, so it's very convenient to get from one place to another. Breakfast was buffet-style, serving varying Asian/Western options. The soup noodle was my favorite. Thanks Novotel for making our stay in Seoul so enjoyable, will definitely book with you whenever we are back in Seoul.

Great location

This hotel was perfectly located for what we planned to do. It is a popular hotel so we got picked form here for our DMZ tour and really close to the famous markets for our food tour. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! We have been travelling and so far this has been the best for choice. I would definitely stay here again.

This place definitely has very kind and helpful staff ( shout out to Sean for giving the best help every time i needed guides for places i wanted to visit) and they all speak english well which is not that common for Seoul hotels so it’s a huge plus ! The breakfast buffet has a huge variety of options and they are all great quality and delicious. The only reason i took 2 stars out of 5 stars in my review is that our room had a very annoying issue which was the restaurant’s kitchen smell that was coming from the vent multiple times a day ! The staff tried to fix it by bringing and air purifier or cleaning the vent and even offering to change our room but we had so many stuff and too settled to move ! We stayed for 7 nights and this issue was persistent for the entire stay. Make sure to address this issue if you notice it before it’s late.

Great team providing personalised service and very professional and friendly. Having to book for swimming pool in advance and go at a specific time wasn’t ideal, however they have good facilities; would be great to be able to go to the swimming pool area whenever you find the time. The food and beverages were really good. Great atmosphere.

Staff were friendly and courteous and helped you out even though they didn't speak English very well they still were able to speak enough to guide you to where to go and if they couldn't they would get someone else to help you

Clean and courteous stay. Great to have laundry in the room. Pool facilities beautiful- make sure to bring a swim cap or hat. Decent gym. Gelato fantastic.

I was disappointed with this hotel and don't feel it lives up to its advertised 5-star rating. When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room wasn't working properly. A member of staff came to try and fix it, which improved it only slightly. To the hotel's credit, they did provide us with a fan, but this isn't what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The room itself showed signs of poor maintenance. The towels were very thin, frayed around the edges, and had started to grey with age. The bathroom sink tap was loose, and there was missing grout in the shower, giving the room a tired and neglected feel. The swimming pool reservation system is also extremely frustrating. Having to book a time slot makes it difficult to plan your day, especially when reservations fill up. I also don't understand why the rooftop pool area is restricted to guests aged 19 and over, which limits access for families. The rooftop terrace itself has great potential and offers lovely views, but when we visited it was completely empty and lacked any atmosphere. It felt like a missed opportunity for what could have been one of the hotel's best features. Overall, while the staff were polite and did try to help when issues were raised, the overall standard of the facilities and maintenance falls well short of what I would expect from a genuine 5-star hotel.

The breakfast was greatly enjoyed by my wife and 12 year old daughter.
