Trash is taken out and beds were done everyday. It’s in a pretty good location surrounded by stores and some good food spots. Laundry machines are ok, but dryers need more than an hour depending on load size. The staff were nice and helpful. Elevator is the only problem honestly, I understand why it would do it but anytime you’d want to leave to go outside, or go straight to your room, it always stops at the second floor and if you’re constantly going in and out of the hotel like I did it gets old real quick. But besides that a really good place to stay at.

Although an older hotel but well maintained. Rooms are small but not too bad. Staff is helpful and friendly. Location is excellent as it’s centralized To shopping and restaurants.

The perfect location. Steps away from all the shopping & dinning places. Also easily accessible by bus to a few tourist attractions. The room was a great size with comfortable bedding & amenities. The tv was a feature that shows you nearby attractions & how to get there ! Staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely a great location for a 1st timer in Kyoto. Check out a bar called the “Snack Bar A-55” minutes away walking distance from hotel. Glad I booked here.

Clean rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast was okay (tempura, rice, chicken stew type of dish, salad, yogurt, pineapple, banana, grapefruit, pancakes, breads, juices, coffee, no sashimi sushi :(. Walked away full every morning! Natto if you like that. Nice central location to Nishiki market. It’s a very busy area with many shops and restaurants. Nice sundries as you walk in (brush, toothbrush, cutip, hair clip, razor,). Travel light if you want to go to/from Kyoto station.

The only thing we didn’t like was the noise from the traffic.

Great location with excellent staff who are very friendly and helpful. It’s very quiet. Will definitely stay here next time when I visit Kyoto. Super convenient to get to everywhere.
