Great location. In the centre. Easy to walk or taxi anywhere in the city. Loads of eating options nearby for every budget. Highly recommend as a great base when visiting Kyoto.

Excellent hotel!!!!

Located in the heart of Kyoto, you’re within walking distance of shops, restaurants, entertainment, the Higashiyama District, key landmarks and temples, as well as transport links. It’s a lovely hotel. The staff are very pleasant and friendly, and the entire property is extremely clean. The room was the most spacious I’ve had in Japan so far, and it was nice to have a window. Complimentary water is provided daily. Rooms are not cleaned every day, as this depends on the length of your stay, but towels are replenished daily and trash is taken out. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again when I return to Kyoto.

Great location in Kyoto for a first time stay. Close by to some amazing restaurants and exciting night lift, but also close to great shopping areas. Would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto.

I got to Centara Grand Hotel Osaka a little past 12:30pm after leaving Kyoto at 11:10am. The staff on the first floor took out my bags and paid my bill for go. Here I was told by the staff at the reception desk that my room won’t be ready till later. I told them that it wasn’t a problem and that I could wait. So I went into the parking lot elevator and exited on the second floor with no one in line at the reception desk. Here I was received by a beautiful woman with a soft voice and asked to see my luggage ticket and passport. She was able to find a room to my own standards. I asked for her name but I forgot because I can’t remember things to good for now. All in all, it was a great day!

It is right in the middle of things but very relaxing when you’re inside.

Beautiful small hotel in prime location, the staff was always helpful and accommodating and the room was spotless and cozy. Will stay here again.
