This hotel was fabulous. The staff very helpful and nice. The breakfast was excellent. The location was very walkable to many sites but out of the craziness of the tourist areas.

Such a beautiful hotel! The Kyoto x Paris theme is playful and fun. We were catered to from the moment we arrived. All the treats in our room, including a special blend of tea & keepsake tote bag were very generous. The room was spacious with a luxurious bath & comfortable beds. The location is great for walking to temples, shopping, etc. Definitely worth a stay to make your trip memorable!

Hotel Fauchon Kyoto was beyond excellent and truly exceeded our expectations. The service was exemplary from start to finish. Everyone on the staff was wonderful — reception, the maître d’ at Breakfast, housekeeping, and restaurant staff all made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The amenities were amazing. Breakfast and dinner were both fantastic, and the food was excellent throughout our stay. The hotel is also very conveniently located for exploring Kyoto. Simply put, this hotel goes beyond five stars. The best hotel experience we have had in our travels in Japan.

Hotel is excellent in a great location. Rooms are great, clean, snacks, and a souvenir fauchon canvas bag. Staff are friendly and helpful.

From the moment we arrived ,we were treated extremely warmly and professionally. The staff went out of their way to assist us with restaurant recommendations and reservations .Our room(facing the mountain) was fabulous and had all necessary amenities. All in all this was a fabulous stay and I would not hesitate to recommend it to other clients

Fauchon was a beautiful hotel with fun, eclectic extras and friendly staff. It was one of our favorite places to stay while in Japan and a great location if you want walkability.

The hotel is a fantastic place, location is convenient in immediate proximity to public transportation and in walking distance to Gion. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast- really good. New and modern rooms with all amenities.
