An amazing hotel to stay in Kyoto. Very central to everything we wanted to see. The Italian restaurant onsite is absolutely fabulous!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights. We found it to be an excellent location. Lots of temples in the area. Easy walk to many famous streets (dori's) in Gion. Don't miss Sanjūsangendō temple next to the property. Many other temples close by. Breakfast was excellent. Also has a restaurant on site - I loved their pasta. There is a cozy vegan place just down the road - has very tasty sandwiches.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto. The exceptional service stood out most. During my stay, I accidentally left my passport and IDs at the hotel bar. After I contacted the front desk, they quickly retrieved them and placed them securely in my room, which I greatly appreciated. I was initially unsure about being assigned a Garden Level (B1) room, but it became one of my favorite aspects of the stay. Located beside the hotel's Zen rock garden, it was a pleasure to open the windows each morning and enjoy a coffee overlooking the tranquil setting. I also appreciated the room's Japandi-inspired design. The blend of Japanese and Scandinavian influences felt elegant, modern, and relaxing. The only notable drawback was the bathroom layout. The vanity and shower areas were open to the room with limited privacy. The toilet was enclosed behind a self-closing sliding door but lacked a lock. This wasn't a major issue for me, but it may be a consideration for those sharing a room. Overall, Hyatt Regency Kyoto delivered an excellent experience with beautiful design, a serene atmosphere, and outstanding service. I would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Kyoto.

No jacuzzi, but the food / breakfast buffet was great . Italian restaurant was so good,Walking distance to a beautiful Shrine.

Especially we had a quiet nice quality of breakfast. Although there were not a variety of breakfast, each cuisine was perfectly nice taste. This was much more than I expected.

The breakfast menu was acceptable. I did not had the chance to enjoy your spa.

Good location, quiet, but still close to train station. Breakfast was really good. Staff and service is good. Just hoped the rooms were bigger.
