Spacious and comfortable room. Good fitness centre and large pool. Itbia right above the Hengshan Road subway station which ia very convenient.
Located in a quiet area but not far to walk to busier parts of the French Concession with more cafes, shops etc

I love the style of the hotel and we even got an upgrade. I think staff try to be helpful but it didn’t quite hit the spot. It was summer and the air conditioning is not as consistent as we would like so sleep wasn’t so good. Room style was great. Love the garden area. The visit was just sickly hot for us so affected our experience. Breakfast was complementary, not sure if it’s due to the upgrade and we enjoyed the breakfast- had a variety of healthy and normal options.
We will probably stay again if we come to Shanghai but not in summer next time.

Enjoyed our stay at the HUALUXE mainly due to the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Our room was a bit dated and a bit dusty in some corners, but overall not too bad.
Location was great, easy to walk into the central area with lots of restaurant choices!

Hotel facility is slightly old but clean and comfortable, a quiet spacious oasis. When I stayed there in Feb. 2025, their price was a good deal. I highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet, convenient place to stay. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, this hotel is a little far from the Bund.
