The hotel is basically like every single one of the chain. It is a tad old though. The room is spacious but a bit old fashioned. The biggest problem is that Google Maps directs to the wrong place.
The snacks and mini bar are uninteresting. The swimming pool is also quite ugly.
But I still like this place very much because it has an awesome gym, with free weight and even weightlifting platform. It’s a proper gym. And it also has a bathroom scale. These are literally the 2 features that drive me to come back here again and again.

1.Good location with many shops and attractions nearby
2.Hotel room is spacious and very clean
3.Staff are friendly and courteous
4.Breakfast spread is fantastic and inviting
I would recomemnd the hotel to any visitors to Shanghai

Very detailed services, from entrance, concierge, front desk, room services, executive lounge, very nice stay, special thanks to room service staff- Yang, Lorna, Mary. Appreciate their kindness to give us beautiful flowers and very caring and detailed services, very impressive for this hotel custom services for each single perspective, also appreciate executive lounge prearrangement and their hospitality. Definitely will come back. It’s our second stay at this hotel.

The staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Especially you have the same housekeeper taking care of your room and she made followers one day and a bunny made from a towel on another day. This especially meaningful to us. We’d stay there again. The only improvement they should make is to upgrade the hotel. The furniture and decor look dated.
