Great place overall. But some of the rooms needs a update.

We got our room early, check in was quick and fast

It was great. The cleaning staff were amazing. Its also right beside the Amtrak train station at Penn. We definitely enjoyed our stay

We made the reservations in April with some friends. We called the hotel & asked if we could get rooms next to each other & the hotel said that they would make a note of that. Our trip was in June & then we check into the hotel & they said that they did not see a note & they could not put us next to each other. So, I that thought this was not fair because we gave them plenty of notice & they could not make good on their word. I also did not like the fact that they did not have a free breakfast included in the hotel. I was very disappointed with this hotel.

I booked and paid through Expedia. When I checked into the hotel they also charged me. I was no aware until after I checked out and saw my statement. The Hotel is saying that they had “collect payment” from Expedia. I have the receipt that says I already paid. They are telling me I need to get in touch with Expedia and fix it. I have reached out to Expedia and they are helping. Be aware of getting charged double by the hotel!

Clean room

This hotel served its purpose. While it wasn’t especially memorable, we were able to sleep comfortably and felt safe during our stay. The property could use some aesthetic updates, including fresh paint and repairs to the many scratches visible on the walls in the hallways and room. I booked a queen metro room, but the bed was actually a full size, which was disappointing. That said, the price was fair, and the location was excellent—just across the street from MSG, which was amazing. It’s also a short walk to the Empire State Building, and although Times Square is about a 30-minute walk, it didn’t feel too far. TicToc restaurant was very nice, the food was good, and the servers were friendly and welcoming. One major downside was the bathroom downstairs by the steakhouse. It was dirty and poorly maintained. Considering its location near a nice steakhouse, you would expect it to be much nicer, but instead it was in disappointing condition. Overall, I'd stay there again based on this experience.

Room was clean enough to stay in for a few days but this is the worst room we've stayed in during our many NYC trips over the years. Pros: The location is incredible. Some of the fastest elevators I've seen in the city. Cons: The walls are paper thin. When the person in the next room takes a shower the plumbing is loud enough to wake me up and I'm I sound sleeper. Maintenance with hammering and drilling in the room below me started at 8am this morning. Rooms are dated. Sheets had stains. Check in took forever, waiting in a line that stretched across the lobby. They can't take cash, then ask you to pay by card on a screen that doesn't show how much they are charging you. Can only be shown that after you pay if you ask to see a paper receipt. Too many other options right near by to ever stay here again. I'll walk an extra block and stay somewhere I can actually get some quiet sleep.

We have stayed at this hotel several times because of the close proximity to Penn Station. I was surprised that it is not a Wyndam property anymore and I could not receive points for our stay. Our room was small but that has always been our experience, the staff was friendly and ready to help with any questions or issues that came up.

Great location for us in the city- wanted something close to public transit. Close to the NJ transit line and many subway stops. Bathroom & room were clean, not terribly spacious, but we were only here to sleep:). Some complained about noise, but we were only here the 29th floor, no issues. If you need your room to be black out dark for sleep, bring a mask.
