Great location

The hotel room itself was great but the hotel staff was not friendly or accommodating. We asked for an extra key to our room and were berated and threatened that if we lost it there would be a major fine….i travel for a living and have never been told this before… I also think there is a major security issue with the hotel not having any phones in the guest rooms—what are guests supposed to do if they need help or emergency services? The last issue was that of the dishes in the kitchen—there is a sign stating that dish cleaning is not included in the price of the room….this leaves me to believe that guests are “cleaning” them prior to leaving with no other sanitation taking place. Because of this, we washed every dish that we used prior to using it and then rewatched after usage…definitely not ideal and not something anyone wants to do on their vacation. Increase the price of the reservation to include this service…

Kitchen was functionally equipped with pots, pans, full sized fridge & freezer. Helpful full time reception desk. Excellent location. Many attractions, grocery, restaurants and shopping nearby. Mini-muffins (morning), water and coffee in lobby. Unit is functional - no fluff. Great as a base to get out see things and make a meal. Access to laundry facilities (soap incl): 5€. Downs: charging for luggage storage over 1 bag. First time I have encountered a fee for hotel baggage storage.

You could not request new towels more than twice, we were there for 6 days and with the humidity, everyone needed showers daily. It advertises toiletries provided but 1 toothbrush with toothpaste, 1 comb and 3 packets of shampoo were what was provided for our family of 3. When we inquired about a pillow for the pull out bed for my son, we were told to use the couch pillows. Laundry service is only available to use 11am-8pm so that was a bust. It advertises 1 room cleaning per stay no matter the length of your stay. We requested a room cleaning and they said they’d be by in the morning. We came back at 2pm, rooms weren’t cleaned and we were exhausted so we took a nap. We got up and requested our room be cleaned, they said they’d came during our nap and we missed our chance. On top of all this, beds are very firm, walls are thin and night life goes until 3-4 in the morning close enough where you can hear it. The staff was unaccommodating in any way and at times borderline rude. On the plus side, there was a fridge, kitchenette, and air conditioning.

The location is so good.
