Cleanliness was an issue for me. The Hotel wasn't clean therefore I felt unclean. Dust on the wall attached hair dryer and a lot of other surfaces. No bathmat, no washcloths, scratchy towels. Bed linens were the bear minimum, one crummy pillow, and just sheets, no blanket option.
One member on staff running around trying to do everything, front desk, paperwork, checking if rooms are ready, answering to customers, leaving the front dest un attended when customers need to get help and out the door.
All I want to say is I will not be back to stay there.

It’s in a bad area and it’s. Dry sketchy at night.
The hotel is dusty and the room does not have a door to the shower. The toilet and bath are separate.
We will not be staying there again and we will not recommend it to our friends.

If you are looking for something off the beaten path, this is a perfect place. The building has a character due to a combination of old and new features and plenty of art (paintings and sculptures) throughout the building. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips on what tourist attractions to see when in order to avoid the crowds. Typical Greek breakfast was delicious and filling. You can walk to the subway Omonia station in 5-7 minutes and 15-20 to the Monastiraki Square. Unfortunately, you will see some homeless encampments on your way and dumpsters in alley ways, but that is common for any big city. For the cleanliness I'm giving it only 4 starts due to the bathrooms - ours could really use some bleach around the tub. But overall, very happy with the stay in a very convenient location for a reasonable price.

Terrible area, can't walk anywhere safely, homeless, addicts etc., Staff at hotel lovely, however that's the only upside. Happy to have left.
