(Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto-Hachijoguchi)

Not recommended for families

Friendly staff and clean room. Great location! 5 minute walk to the train station.

Very clean. Staffs were very helpful.

Short walk to train/subway station made this hotel convenient. Breakfast buffet economical but few western food options. Room pretty small but adequate.

Great stay!

Great location, fantastic staff.

This was definitely a convenient hotel to Kyoto station, and the staff was accommodating. The room itself was a little underwhelming in that the beds weren't the most comfortable (didn't use 100% cotton sheets (partially synthetic, which doesn't breathe as well), mattress was too firm), and the bathroom had some maintenance issues. Nothing major, but would probably look elsewhere next time. For context, I travel to Kyoto 2-3 times a year for work and stay for 1-2 weeks at a time.

Very good location. Extremely nice staff and super delicious breakfast.

Great location
