Area was nice. Close to paddington station (walk) and restaurants and stores. Hotel was nice with A/C and good size room with bathroom. Very reasonable price. Only downside was no lift. We were 4th floor. Would have loved to have light breakfast included

This hotel is in an older building with some visible signs of wear and tear, but it was spotlessly clean and offered excellent value for money. The air conditioning was fantastic, which was a lifesaver during the London summer heat, and the large balcony and Jacuzzi bathtub were great additions. Overall, this was one of my most enjoyable stays in London. I'd definitely recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to return

Very well located, good air conditioning

A nice little stay especially since it’s 5mins walk from the train station. A bit hard to find from desk for check in . No elevator just stairs . Good thing air condition room , not very new tho. Double bed is two twin beds put together comfortable nonetheless. Nice for a short stay . No breakfast . Just a sleep and out .

The room in this property was VERY small. The bathroom was VERY small with just a few inches between the shower toilet and basin. The door was literally 2” from my knees when sitting in the toilet. Whatever the opposite of spacious is applies to the room. The one reception guy we saw once was great and the room was serviced once in 4 days also great. But the location for touring London was really great. 5-10 minutes walk from Paddington station. So 25 minutes from Heathrow. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. You can reach any part of London easily from Paddington station with several Underground lines and regular trains leaving all the time. So if you just want a room to sleep in, as a base for touring London, this is perfect and very reasonable price.

Always a reliable safe and pleasurable stay. I’ve been here five or six times and do not hesitate to rebook.

I was very pleased with this hotel, the staff, cleanliness and location. The hotel was a few minutes walk from Paddington Station and other underground lines. The hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean when I arrived. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was perfect and the water seemed to heat up quickly and stay hot. The room and bathroom were small but it had everything I needed for a 2-night stay and served its purpose for a solo traveler. There were many stores, restaurants, cafes, etc within walking distance. And Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens were in walking distance as well. I’d definitely stay again.

This room was everything we needed it to be. The room itself was small (only room to walk around the edge of the bed), but the balcony was so nice (maintained flowers in the pots would be my only improvement there). The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom seemed to be new. The only TV channels we could get (or at least figure out) was YouTube. Not a big deal. It’s very close to Paddington station which makes it super convenient for getting around the city. FYI: I would call this a “micro hotel.” It’s on a row of what (presumably) were single family townhomes for wealthy people long ago and over time most have been bought up and turned into small hotels.

Very difficult to get in to the property; there are two sites so staff might be at the other site. On the door it gave a phone number if no one answered the door, but that person was not helpful and told us to knock on the door - as if we hadn't done that for ages!; eventually another person turned up and told us we should have phoned the number. Really not good enough!! Otherwise once inside it is quite a nice place and I was very glad the window actually opens properly to get some fresh air - quite unusual in London hotels.
