Ideally located! 12 minutes to inner circle of cabals. Close to everything! 10 minutes to Rembrandt, 15 minutes to red light district, 15 minutes to Dam square. Bicycle rental shop just a few yards away.

Location is good and breakfast was nicely done. But the overall condition for a newer property shows wear. Our shower leaked, and there seemed an overall lack of attention to detail.

Great hotel for 1 to days stay, any longer stay you need to go for the Standard Holiday Inn as the rooms are bigger with better amenities.
The hotel is centrally located with short walking distance to Metro, Tram and all kind of shopping & restaurants. 10 minutes ride by metro or tram to main shopping areas, squares & Amsterdam Central train/metro/tram/buss station.
The Express bran room offers small cabinets for hanging clothes, no drawers for medicine / underwear wear / sleeping wear, no refrigerator, no microwave, reduced amenities in the room and (hygiene) supplies. You will live from your suitcase case.
However, the room includes shampoo, body-wash, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, flatscreen TV, kettle, cups & tea, instant coffee with creamer & sugar. Any extra items you need you can ask the desk & they will provide it to you for free such cup with Ice, extra coffee or tea, extra facial tissue or cotton’s, put something in the guest refrigerator for next day, etc.
The daily breakfast extends to brunch period around 11:55 am and was really good. It includes warm food (scrambled egg, boiled eggs, pancakes, beans) and cold food, multiple types of yogurts, cereals, pastries, breads, cold cuts meats& cheeses, preserves, jams, honey, olives, tomatoes & cucumbers cuts) and best of all automated coffee machine that makes all kind of coffees, teas and cocoa.
Overall it we enjoyed our stay even though we stayed in the hotel for 7 days😊👍
