Great hotel

Albus is in the best location, and the service is fantastic. Charming boutique hotel.

Clean and quiet and convenient. Loved the friendly and helpful staff

Very friendly and kind staff. Room was spacious. Staff helped us book our taxi to the airport which made our last morning less stressful.

We had such a wonderful experience with our stay. Staff were very polite, professional, and helpful.

From the WhatsApp messages ahead of arrival to the ease of communicating with the staff via WhatsApp during our stay, the Albus staff were responsive and very helpful. Our flight arrived hours before check-in opened, so we made sure we could drop off our bags at the hotel before venturing out to begin exploring the city. When we arrived, they greet us with enthusiasm even though I’m sure we looked haggard from a very long delay at Passport Control. They offered us a refreshing beverage, which we enjoyed gratefully while we formulated a shorter exploration (due to the delay and the extraordinary heat). We returned to the lobby a few minutes before check-in opened, and the staff who assisted us earlier remembered us and let us know our room was available. He checked us in and assisted us to our room. He explained the amenities and made sure we had an opportunity to ask questions before he returned to the desk. The room was comfortably chilled to 19C (~66F), which felt great after the heat of 99F outside. Staff greeted us each time we left or returned. On check-out day, we had a very early departure, and I messaged the desk to learn the checkout procedure for that hour. The response was quick: Someone staffs the desk 24/7, so someone would be there when we left in the wee hours. Indeed, when we stepped off the elevator, someone was there. He checked us out quickly and made sure we had a car waiting. I strongly recommend staying here.

Great location, walkable and close to many stores and restaurants. Appreciated the AC and elevator, along with the welcome drink and water in the lobby. Very kind and helpful staff. Nice room size and amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful small boutique hotel. Rooms were good size for 2 people. Ours had two closets. A safe, and nespresso machine. And thank goodness we had AC for the record breaking heat wave. Hotel is in a perfect location. Just minutes to Museum area, de Pijp, jordaan , or the RDL. Did not try the restaurant but they have a lovely small bar in the lobby and they have coffee, tea, water and even some popsicles available for the kiddos. Fantastic stay
