Story Hotel Pera is well-located, with two great locantos within 6 metres - both recommended. It was easy using the IstanbulKart to hop a tram from Tophane to Sultanahment stop with Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the cisterns etc., the Grand Bazaar two more stops, and Pera Palace an easy 250m walk. The staff here are beyond helpful, knew our names on arrival, booked us excellent massages, gave recommendations for cafes etc., and assisted with travel arrangements getting back to Australia. Turkiye is an amazing country, and the lads here are the epitome of the friendliness, service and humour we've encountered these past three weeks. What an excellent place to finish our stay, I'd certainly return and stay here.

A centrally located hotel. Excellent staff. However, amenities are limited - no restaurant on site but plenty of choices nearby including adjacent to the hotel. No spaces outside of the room, so no gym, pool etc. I think this is a trade off - great location, easy access to metro and tram system versus space to chill out at hotel

The staff were extremely helpful and responsive, immediately resolving any requests without delay. THe hotel is boutique and so has no kitchen, but it is located just off of an extremely popular street with countless dining options so it was not a problem. Despite being mere feet away from the hustle and bustle, the room was perfectly quiet.

Every employee was exceptionally kind and helpful. Masterclass in hospitality.

Excelente ubicacion

We loved the location of the Hotel. The staff were amazing and all their recommendations for restaurants/activities were excellent. The Hotel was beautiful and the rooms were well appointed. We had a great balcony with a beautiful view. We will definitely stay here again.

Nothing but great things to say. I did stay on top floor with fantastic water/Asia side view. Room fantastic. Staff were great - loved the restaurant recommendations list they provided. If you are interested in staying in this part of Istanbul you cannot go wrong.

I had a great stay here! It was clean, safe and right on the main shopping street. Everything is walking distance and the metro is also a stone’s throw away.

This place was amazing! As soon as we arrived the staff were incredibly helpful! They provided a list of places for us to go for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The room and bathroom was large and I loved the bathrobe and slippers! My only issue was the bed was a little hard, but it didn’t interrupt my sleeping. Would definitely stay again!

We are very grateful to the staff and management at The Story, they helped us with a number of problems like lost luggage from our flight. The room was spacious and everything was very convenient, places to put everything, comfortable bed, good air conditioning. We appreciated the hospitality and will definitely stay here when we return to Istanbul!
