Easy getting to centre of Amsterdam by metro station & airport. Nice modern clean apartments & friendly helpful staff.

This hotel consists of mostly shared hostel type rooms, and maybe private rooms as well, but the Via Suites building where we stayed was nice private suites with nice bathrooms in the suite. Bed was comfortable and our daughter slept on a jack knife sofa bed that was made up for her. That wasn’t as comfy, but okay for a child. There was a bar which had a descent selection of appetizers and meals like you would get in an American bar and grill. We didn’t pay for the breakfast but we did have dinner there one evening since it was raining and we didn’t want to go out. There are two M53 metro stops, each about a 10 min walk away that go to central Amsterdam frequently in about 30 min. The metro is very easy to navigate and only has 4 lines. You can tap a credit card or cell phone with Apple/Google Pay to use as you Metro ticket. As of early June 2026, with an exchange rate of 1.16 USD to the Euro the max daily rate for using the Metro was about $9.46USD. Once you hit the max usage, you aren’t charged any more. Kind of nice that you don’t have to decide what type of ticket to purchase. So if you are looking for a nice place that’s more cost effective than central Amsterdam and don’t mind a 30 min Metro ride to get into the city center, Via Suites is a good option.

Great location for concerts in the stadium. Very convenient for getting the metro in and out of Amsterdam. The facilities were great and the food in the restaurant was really good!

This is a fun place to stay for young people. It has good facilities and a relaxed feel, it has a good location, 10min walk fee room the train/metro station with direct access to Schipol and Amsterdam Cental from Diemen Zuid. There are a few places to eat locally including a supermarket. You can also walk to the Cruiff stadium in around 20 min.

Large room, great facilities and close to public transport

Nice hotel, geeat staff, good bed, good wifi. Tv was not connected to cable or was not able to connect phone to tv (tv not wifi enabled)

This was a great location. The bed was comfy, and the room was spacious. The location was a bit out of the way, but easily accessible by ride share. I highly recommend renting a bike for 19 Euros to bike around the city. So beautiful!

We stayed in the Via Suites ! Room was excellent and very spacious. Staff at Via went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We are both breakfast and dinner at The Dude, food was very good and good value for money. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff, they were very helpful. Loved our room 535, it was just the matress on the one side collapsed, we did tell reception and they will let maintenance know.
