The hotel is a little dated and could use some updates. However, it's hard to complain when you have a stunning castle view right outside your window. The beautiful scenery made the stay very enjoyable and memorable.

Great location, castle view room well worth it. Clean, high quality and super reasonably priced. Would definitely return. Highly recommend

Fantastic position, make sure you get a room with a view of the castle. The night light up is beautiful.

Great location and friendly staff. Worth getting a room with the castle view.

Room is very old

Loved the location of this hotel. Beautiful view of the castle. We were within walking distance of downtown but a little off the main street so it was a bit quieter. The hotel had a really nice traditional breakfast every morning. The staff was super helpful and polite. Very very helpful in finding things around Kumamoto. I really enjoyed my time in Kumamoto. Thank you KKR.

Close to Kumamoto castle, spacious room

Big rooms and friendly staff but need to walk a bit to find dining places

The hotel looks right out at the castle. Walking across the street is the park and an incredible art museum. Shopping is in walking distance. The staff were so helpful. There are places to sit and relax. The bed was comfortable and the room clean.

My family had a great stay in a castle-view room. It was spectacular! The location cannot get better, with major malls and restaurants less than 700 meters away. The staff was very courteous. What a refreshing change from all these unattended/automated hotels.
