The hotel’s location is excellent, directly across from Lausanne train station, making it very convenient for travelers.
However, the property shows its age. The furniture was outdated and worn, the bed frame and carpets showed significant wear, the drapes and comforter had holes, and the room had a strong musty smell. While the bathroom and common areas were clean, the room’s condition did not feel consistent with a 4-star property. On the positive side, the staff was accommodating and responsive throughout my stay.
One additional note: I booked six prepaid nights through Expedia but informed the front desk at check-in and checkout that I would leave one day early and use only five nights. I requested a refund through Expedia. Expedia later said they had contacted the hotel multiple times for approval, but their emails went unanswered. If you encounter a similar situation, obtain written confirmation of any refund approval before departure and provide it to Expedia. Doing so may save considerable time and frustration.
Overall, the location is excellent and the staff is helpful, but the condition of my room fell well short of my expectations for a 4-star hotel.

最高 It was a nice hotel right across from train station. So location was great if you’re traveling by train. Nice walk to the lake. Town was interesting to walk around and see all the old buildings.

A functional hotel conveniently situated opposite Lausanne railway station and 40 yards from the metro entrance. The complimentary transport card that is provided allows easy access up to the old town (2 stops) and down to the lakeside (4 stops).
My room facing the station (currently undergoing major expansion) was compact and reasonably comfortable, with a notably high pressure shower.
The station surroundings are typically unprepossessing but the attractive parts of the town are not far distant.

Located right across from the train station, this hotel was quiet and well situated for anything Lausanne. The accommodations are simple but it gets the job done. The staff is quite helpful. We have stayed in several places here and this one works out just great.

The staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. They were consistently warm and welcoming. They answered questions and offered informed advice. The room was small but laid out beautifully, giving a sense of spaciousness and comfort. The location was wonderful. It was across the street from the train station. It is a five minute walk to the art museum. It is a two minute walk to the funicular which takes you up to the cathedral and restaurants and shops of downtown. A bonus for vegetarians and salad lovers: there’s a historic cafe in the train station with great food and coffee. And the setting is lovely.
