Great Location in Old Town.

Fabulous reception staff, friendly and honest. Can’t thank them enough.

The hotel is in a great location in the Old Quarter with a very short walk to the lake, shopping and restaurants. The room itself was comfortable and tidy. There were some questionable looking stains on the curtain and when I raised this with the staff they assured me they would rectify it. I was staying on level 6 and there must be a staff quarter or something on level 7 and there were a couple of mornings I was woken at around 5am with them being very loud. The staff were proactive about trying to recommend tours through WhatsApp and to fairly brutal I wish they were as studious about notifying guests when the lift was broken and I was watching people having to drag their luggage down narrow flights of stairs. Breakfast compared to other hotels I've stayed at throughout Vietnam was pretty limited but still a fair selection. If you're looking for nothing more than a room with a bed in Hanoi, then this place is perfectly acceptable in my opinion.

This is more of an assessment of Expedia and not the property. I would expect Expedia to somehow check the facts about the property before listing it as a 4 star hotel. The hotel has seen its good days probably 30 years ago. I checked out after the first night despite the fact that I had prepaid Expedia for 3 nights. The towels were old and had probably not been changed for 5 years. The card key was pre made with a sticker on it with the room number (secure??) I could see inside people’s houses and bedroom across the alley. There’s no car access to the hotel. The bed was made in the morning but no change of sheets and fresh old towels were placed in the bathroom! Overall, I got out of there as soon as I could. Extremely disappointed with Expedia.

We enjoyed our stay..the frontdesk staff was very helpful, very accommodating even the kitchen and service driver. The hotel was clean and provided with toiletries. Two thumbs up.

Central location but not a great alley to be located on.

Great location. Right in the old quarter so easy access to restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. Each one is kinder than the next. The thing to remember about this property is it is down in alley so it’s difficult to find unless you know where you’re going. The rooms are comfortable. We had to move rooms because across the street. They were doing construction from 12 AM to 4 AM. The staff was very accommodating moved us without question and they were just so kind. Breakfast is easy you can order off a menu with lots of different variety.

Sits on small side street where vendors sell raw meat. Cars can’t travel street so have to go to next cross street to catch taxi, etc.
