Unfortunately, our stay was a little disappointing. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, as advertised on the booking listing, but we were given a room without one. When I raised this with the staff, they admitted they didn’t have any rooms matching that specification. They moved us to a room with a better view, but it still overlooked a busy road. As an apology, they said they would send wine and fruit to our room, but these never arrived. The hotel also feels a little dated in places, particularly the rooms with their carpeted floors. The swimming pool can get quite loud, although it does have a beautiful view. On the positive side, the spa is lovely, the hotel is very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The pool near the Bosforo is one of the most pleasant places we saw in the world. Dinner at Tuga is a must go.

Our stay at Çırağan Palace Kempinski was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional hospitality throughout. The butler service was incredibly thoughtful — they even offered to bring items up or down for us when we couldn’t make it in time. Turn-down service was consistently well done, and the minibar was replenished promptly every day. One gesture that really stood out was how the housekeeping team placed a prayer mat in our room after noticing we were using face towels for prayers. It was such a considerate and respectful touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. Even though we didn’t book a suite, the level of service we received never felt any less special. Combined with the palace’s stunning architecture and beautiful surroundings, the experience was simply wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again for another memorable visit.
