Very convenient to bars/restaurants/sights.

Staff was outstanding. They helped to explain some things and helped us get a taxi at 4:30 in the morning (local time). They have a staff member at the front desk 24/7. Breakfast was outstanding, compared to other European hotels that offer breakfast. The room was functional but that's about it. It was very plainly decorated - just one small picture on the wall. The bathroom had some oddities despite being newly renovated, such as no ledge in the shower to place soap or shampoo. But if you don't mind those small things, I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Centrally located great staff

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The location was excellent—within easy walking distance of Florence's main attractions—and the hotel felt very safe thanks to the secured entrance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit. When we arrived, our room hadn't been set up with the two beds we had requested, but the staff member at reception quickly and kindly moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the new room was not non-smoking as booked and had a noticeable cigarette smell, which made us feel unwell. We appreciated having air conditioning, the included breakfast, the beautiful rooftop terrace, and the elevator (although be aware there are still a few stairs to climb). The room itself was comfortable and met our basic needs, but it's a simple, older hotel rather than a luxurious one, so it's best suited to travellers looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay rather than an upscale experience. One small warning: the toilet makes an extremely loud noise when flushed (but also randomly), which can be quite startling the first time! Overall, despite a few shortcomings, the friendly service and fantastic location made for a good stay.

Staff was very freindy and helpful, breakfast was good

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Boccaccio in Florence. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was excellent for exploring the city, and overall we were very happy with our experience. The only challenge was arriving by car. The hotel does not have on-site parking, and there is not really a designated area to temporarily stop and unload luggage. As a result, we had to park first and then walk our luggage through the streets of Florence to reach the hotel, which was not ideal after a long drive. Other than that, everything was great, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location, clean and welcoming. It’s easy to get in, just click labeled button and they’ll let you in. Lovely rooftop, breakfast, etc.

Everything that I need and nothing that I don’t. Central location but no métro in Florence so took taxis to the terminal train station.
