The hotel was just at a different class compare to the ones that I have stayed in the last two weeks at the more rural cities or towns. From the point where you step in, the staff was excellent and the food was just spoilt for choice. Room was clean, nice and view of the bund made it special. I would highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic hotel in a prime Shanghai location. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and the range of services is impressive. The breakfast buffet was a highlight — a wonderful spread covering both Eastern and Western options. But the real star of W Shanghai is the staff. Every single person we encountered — from the warm, welcoming lady at the reception desk to everyone else we met throughout our stay — was helpful, genuinely cheerful, and went above and beyond. The upgrade to a river-view room was the cherry on top. As first-time visitors to China, W Shanghai has a huge part in making this trip truly unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team! You’re the best:)

Excellent hotel. Wet bar has a great view but very expensive.

Very conveniently located with amazing views of the Bund. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, made it a very pleasant stay. Our toddler had a great time and was given kids amenities (including a toddler pillow!) - would definitely recommend!

Two beds room is not as amazing as the one bed room. But still good

The service, Hotel rooms and bar overlooking the Shanghai Skyline is incredible. Best Hotel I have been to in Shanghai by far.
