We arrived early and the staff were very helpful, arranged to leave our luggage whilst we meandered around the area until check in time. Our room was adequate, it was certainly clean, maybe a little tired but we were not living in the room. We slept really well in the confortable beds. Small bathroom, but had all we needed with no problems at all. During our 2 night stay at The Apple Inn the staff were always helpful and friendly. Trams, buses, cafes and restaurants are all close by, as well as the beautiful Voldepark. The hotel also sits in a beautiful, leafy suburb and would definitely come and stay again.

The room was clean, bright, and we had a nice balcony. Apple Inn is also easy for public transportation — you can take the 2 tram right to Museumplein, the canal ring and into Centraal. I’ve stayed here twice and would recommend it again.

Great location. Staff was helpful. Stairs are steep, but we already knew that and didn’t have a problem with it. Enjoyed our stay.

Loved the location where there was the tram along the street and just a few km to the museums. the room was clean and neat. bathroom was nice.

Nice hotel.

While this hotel was very well placed, the hospitality of the staff could use some work. Our room smelled very strongly cigarettes and when I mentioned it to the staff at the front I was gaslit into believing it is impossible for it to smell like cigaretttes. He said it "was impossible for it to smell like cigarettes because there's a smoke detector in the room". After coming out 4 seperate times to tell him the cigarette smell was not leaving, he finally started believing. Luckily the next morning there was another staff member at the desk who was much more understanding and gave us a new room.

Room is neglected. Bad condition, crampy and receptionist is not helpful. They only seems to care lying to clients and money grab.

Room was clean and cleaned everyday. Good value for money. Nothing to complain about. We had a lovely three night stay. It was in a good location and fitted description and photos.

Room was not clean, floor was terrible. Also we booked with 2 kids, infants, 0 and 2 years old. Which they knew when we booked, no elevator! This is like a hostel, not 3 stars
