The rooms needed deep cleaning and everything smelled like sour milk unfortunately. We have stayed here a few times before and it was always so clean. This time there were stains on pillow and the bed smelled like a baby spit up all over it and owed all over it and it smelled like sour rotten milk. We recommend the owners and property management crew replace all the mattresses and pillow and sheets/pillow cases. That should be a requirement every 3-6 months as the number of sweaty people sleeping in that room at some point must reached hundreds. The amount of sweat and foul smelling people may accumulate and at some point cleaning just won’t be very good. Please let management know we love this property and the people are so kind… the cleanliness of both units needs to be improved and make sure there are no blood or other stains. We ended up booking another Ayana Segara Resodencea and the quality was significantly better of course the price was also even though it’s on the same street and property just different buildings and different management.

Fantastic value. Easy access to all the excellent facilities in Ayana via the buggy (less the pools, which we didn’t need since we got a private one), and very responsive concierge service via the room phones and whatsapp. Great stay!!

Incredible Ayana property !

It would have been better if I’d have rented a car to get around. Anyplace nearby to get food? No. Anywhere to find washing soap? No. Had to call for a shuttle anytime we wanted to go to the main resort. The real ugly, they kept asking for The hotel reservation number. Hotels.com would not give it. The hotel refused to find it. So, sort of limited on what we could do. The room itself was a bit rundown. Several broken cabinet doors. The cockroaches were friendly if not expected. ITT had a nice fresh lawnmower smell on arrival. Not what I’d call a 5 star hotel. Checkin was funky, paid for everything as it wasn’t clear I could room charge anything. Large place, nice dining/living area with balcony. View of the ocean. Service was non existant. It was clean. Expensive for the service and quality. It would be much poorer if not adjacent to the main resort. I’d guess it’s a better fit for a family

Large yellowish marking on the bedsheet which could have been a pee stain. Did not smell so maybe an old one. When I noticed it before going to bed and called the reception, all they could offer was to replace it the next morning. Had to sleep on the duvet. Uncomfortable stay and I hope it won’t happen again to others.

The apartment is gorgeous. I stayed at both the main hotel and this apartment at the resort and have to say that I prefer this one. The staff is also amazing!

Everything excellent!!!! The whole complex and view amazing. So many food options at restaurant The rock bar was a great place to watch the sunset with cocktail

Room was imac, pool incredible, not cheap but hey when you wanna roll with the best it comes at a price

Terrible communication with management. Started off with miscommunication between shuttle service and management - ended up waiting at airport over an hour, and driver had been there over 2 hours since he was not informed we came in on domestic flight. Difficult to get services needed throughout stay, but individual staff went above and beyond to accommodate us,while other times, never got a response or resolution. Expedia is to blame for much of the communication issue - it would have been easier to have direct contact with property management than go through the Expedia platform. Never had this issue with the other web services.

The unit is large. Negative thing was that there is no swimming pool on site. You will need to take the buggy to another building which was very inconvenient. The managment also gave us only one key card (there were 3 of us) for this 3 bedroom unit. we asked for the additional one but only to be told there were only 2 cards and the service people need one to come in for cleaning and etc. My daughter was coming in and out at different times and it was very very inconvenient to be there to open the door for her.
