The location is great and the views are excellent BUT this location needs to tell people that there is no elevator. Carrying 2 50lb bags up five floors was not the high point of our trip. Also, internet was interrupted several times a day. We had a clean and comfortable bed but our room was small. Had to put one bag one the kitchen counter and the other across the end table as there was not enough room on the floor.

Great location, clean and friendly stuff!

The staff at Lakeview colonial motel were so helpful. They were able to organise an early check in for us which was so useful after a sleepless night beforehand! The room was clean and had everything we needed including free parking. The view of the lake was stunning and queenstown centre was a short bus or 20 minute walk away. The shower temperature was difficult to control (it was either too hot or too cold) but this was a minor problem. We would definitely stay here again as the view was so beautiful and the staff went the extra mile for us.

Amazing Stay and had the best Lake View

Fantastic room, well equipped bathroom and small kitchen and very comfortable beds. Warm, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing view of lake from the room and veranda. Easy 15 min walk to the Queenstown centre.
