This was our third trip to Queenstown and the Sofitel Hotel and Spa far surpassed our previous accommodation experiences. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were incredible.

Exceeded expectations, nothing was too hard to get for us. Super easy and amazingly comfortable, great people friendly professional and helpful. Lovely arrival drinks, bed and pillows wonderful. Perfect location in the town everything in walking distance.

Friendly staff and a great central location if you want to be in the heart of Queenstown and enjoy the nightlife. However, if you’re visiting for the famous lake and mountain views, I would suggest looking elsewhere, as many rooms overlook nearby buildings and parking areas. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Despite being advertised as a buffet, the selection was very limited and not what you would expect from a five-star hotel. It became even more restricted during our stay, with some hot buffet items removed and replaced by a menu where guests could choose only one dish. The room was comfortable overall, but the mattress was poor quality and felt uneven, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, great staff and location, but the breakfast and bedding fell well below five-star expectations.

Wonderful and helpful staff. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing. Staff incredibly friendly and all with lovely smiles early in the morning.

Was a lovely stay. Have stayed a many hotels in Queenstown and the Sofitel was up there. Although the building is slightly dated the experience and customer service was well beyond.

I have stayed at this property several times and enjoy the convenience of its location each time
