The hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would certainly stay again!

There was food left in the refrigerator from a previous guest. There were two clean bath towels left each day, replacing two soiled ones. However on my third day one dirty towel was left behind and only one clean towel was left.No a/c on night 3 and my room had no functioning windows. The room became extremely warm. I had expected more since Expedia gave it a 9.4 rating.

Très bon hotel

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of Montmartre and other sites. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We chose the Hôtel Littéraire Marcel Aymé for our last night in Paris and it could not have been a more fitting farewell. Our room with a balcony and a view of the Eiffel Tower was simply magical — there’s nothing quite like ending a France trip with that view at night. The location in Montmartre is ideal. We walked easily to all the spots we wanted to see — Sacré-Cœur, Place du Tertre, the charming backstreets — without needing to think about transport. The neighbourhood itself has such a wonderful energy for an evening stroll. The air conditioning was excellent, which made all the difference after a full day of exploring. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a special place to wrap up a Paris trip, this is it. The atmosphere, the location, the view — all perfect.

Overall best thing was location. The reviews of the hotel, though, led me to think it was something special but while it has character, it was nothing out of the ordinary, especially for the price. It was clean, did have a good, big bed, but a very tiny toilet separate to the small bathroom. There was a safe but no fridge and a coffee machine with very few pods. The aircon was controlled by hotel and we could not cool down the room in the middle of a heatwave (32C outside!). There was a welcome carafe of water in the hotel when we arrived but it was never refilled. Some staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment. Great area to stay in, though: very touristy but lots of buzz, bars, restaurants with outside terraces for watching the world go by. Near to Metro (Abbesses and Blanche) and Moulin Rouge and not too far from Sacre Coeur.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, walking distance to the metro and surrounded by great restaurants and bakeries. The staff were all fantastic, and the hotel's theme is worth experiencing, if you are interested in literature or not. The room was quiet and had many nice features (like blackout curtains, tall windows with a fascinating city/street view, good tea and Nespresso coffee, good shower products, etc.). Learning about an author I didn't previously know was an unexpected perk of the trip!

Le lit fut confortable et un peu petit (lit double). Le personnel a toujours été gentil et j’avoue que c’était le point fort. Super bien placé pour vivre 5 jours à Montmartre pour repos et culture.
