I wanted to stay in this area for a couple of days before leaving for The Datai. I needed a place that I could walk to the restaurants and bars (not that I drink) but for social media content in Langkawi. I explained to the staff that I am there for a super car race in 2 days. Immediately, the staff arranged a secure place with guards, near a bank to take care of it. So I did not move my car for 2 days, as I was busy working. The car was secure and I was at peace. That alone helped me work in peace. The staff were so kind and were VERY attentive to this particular need. They really helped me quite a bit. Have the welcome drink at the bar. If you get bottles of wine, they do not charge cockage too consume it at the bar. The Australian Shiraz was heavenly. Great selection.

Not sure why so bad reviews. I enjoyed my stay here - I knew what I was getting myself into. You are in the prime location one min from the beach. Good, clean, spacious rooms with a balcony view towards the ocean. You are facing the parking lot, not exactly ocean front, but still have a pretty good view. Staff was nice and accommodating. Female staff very generous in offering oranges. My stay included a free cocktail for two on the second floor bar, and breakfast vouchers at old town coffee. I ate the best bingsu at the ice cream shop down the street. Best location from all bars and restaurants and two fire shows. For a 3 star hotel - full marks for me. You want luxury find a 4 or 5 star.

Across the street from the beach which is nice, pumping bass until midnight is not nice

Air conditioning remote not working Drilling outside at the construction site and inside during the day as some construction work was being carried out in the hotel Noisy corridor as other people walk talk - the hotel has very poor sound insulation Phone in the room didn’t work. Breakfast is very poor. Lift was not working in the first few days had to use service lift.

Room basic but very clean. Staff lovely especially Yus

Breakfast options to be increased

*Dining room is not in the hotel *poor accommodations *toilette tank was leaking *building was not sound proof *roof was ok, but noise is unbearable in the rain *water boiling pot was with rusted bottom *shower door was not completely closed, water running on the floor - it is hazardous condition . *hair dryer was as a pink color kid toy. When asked for a replacement, I was told that no dryer was available as hotel was fully booked.
