Some of the lights were out but that’s not a problem

Nice place; helped on finding a missing bag on a taxi. Well done.

The hotel was beautiful but the price for parking was high. Maybe $56 for self parking is typical in Chicago. It was easy to walk to The Chicago Art Institute and it was a great location. The tub clogged and would not drain the morning of departure. I reported it to front desk staff. I would stay there again.

Before I begin, I want to say that the staff were very helpful in trying to help me figure out a solution to the problem. The only thing worth the stay is the Lobby (you’ll see they invest more in the bar than the rooms you sleep in) Before you book, keep in mind that the pictures do not match what is give to you. I got a King Deluxe room & received moldy lamps, a room and bathroom that didn’t match the pictures AT ALL! I mean at all. Not a single similarity. Furniture did not match, dirty pillows, hairs in the bathroom. No! Stay that the Hilton Garden Inn at the South Loop instead :) The check in staff were so helpful and kind! They had no other rooms available & the nice lady who worked the morning shift was so sweet and helpful after she asked how my stay was. But yea, not worth it and would not recommend. There are plenty of other better locations you can consider.

From the check-in with Carlo, it was already an excellent experience. The room and common areas were very clean, and it's a beautiful hotel. Centrally located and convenient, just a five-minute walk to the Art Institute. Would absolutely recommend.

This is my second time staying there for a conference. The beds are old and uncomfortable as is the bedding. The rooms are extremely humid and the air conditioning was inefficient at cooling the room below 74. The water pressure in the shower was abysmal. The rooms, plumbing, and A/C are in desperate need of modernization.
