I have no idea what makes this a 4 star hotel. This place was dirty...DIRTY. There was also an inch and a half gap about my hotel door where you could see into the hallway. All the walls and floors were extremely dirty. This place is run-down to say the least. The hotel staff was VERY NICE but I would never stay here again. I was shocked at the appearance of this place especially based on the photos.

The room was reasonably priced in view of its location, but it definitely feels like it has seen better days! The fire alarms went off for a few seconds, which was a definite jump scare. Can’t complain too much, it provided warm and safe accommodation.

Hotel is tidy enough, water pressure from the shower is decent. Not a big room but enough for us two without big luggage. Air conditioning of the room is great, absolutely saved us from the heat wave.

Bed wasn’t too comfortable and there was some sort of machine outside my window that was starting up and going off throughout the night. However, the room was clean and adequate considering the price as a lateish booking.

The air conditioner didn’t work and no other rooms were available until the second night. There was mold in the shower that could be wiped off the tile. I asked on the first night to have it cleaned and it was not done the next day as promised. Will not stay here again.

A struggle to Iron clothes in the morning, waiting 2 hours for an iron. Caused some unnecessary stress as travelling for work. Other than that room was good and Air con was well needed. Breakfast was disappointing.

Twin bed room for my daughter and I. Room was clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable. Great air conditioning especially for the heat wave during our stay. Location was good, 2 tube stations only a few minutes walk from the hotel for travel into London city centre. Also shops and restaurants and pubs nearby are open till quite late.

I had an enjoyable stay here. I loved that the location was a quiet, serene street but still just a short walk to a main strip/tube station (5-7 minute walk) in one direction and to the Portabella market area in the other direction (maybe a 15- 20 minute walk). Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was small but adequate. The balcony was inaccessible but I had a lovely view of the small park/garden area across the street. I’d stay again for a reasonably priced room in a quiet area.

My room had air conditioning which was wonderful for summer in London! The room was a good size for 1 person and the staff were lovely.

Very clean, excellent location , small room but you got what you pay. Noisy Asian family in my next door but that is out hotel control. Unfortunately I heard everything.
