Incredible location by the river, lovely staff, comfortable room and excellent breakfast. They were very obliging when we had excursions and packed us a breakfast for pick up. Lots of GF options. Would return.

I had to ask to change room because I could hear the toilet cisterns and when I told the staff that's what I thought it was she agreed. The shower had mold in, I got charged €4 for water in the room, the walls were chipped and need repainting. The staff were friendly but no-one offered to help take my bags to my room. It is a 3plus hotel at best not a 5 star.

We had a lovely stay at LHP hotel River. The location was perfect for walking into Florence, crossing the bridges and accessing the city site seeing bus. Catarina (I think that’s how I spell her name) was really helpful at breakfast, greeting us with a warm friendly hello, ensuring we had enough coffee and giving us some valuable tips for enjoying our stay, particularly with the high temperature. The hotel has a small air conditioned gym, with cardio and weight machines. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Florence.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel River & Spa. The location is perfect, right on the Arno with a beautiful 10/15 minute walk along the river to the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and other main attractions. It made exploring Florence really easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with great facilities and a calm, stylish atmosphere throughout. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with plenty of fresh options. The biggest positive was the staff. We were visiting for my wife’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special for her. Their kindness and attention to detail genuinely made our stay memorable. Highly recommended - we would definitely stay here again.

Not a warm welcome to this hotel. Hallways small, rooms were just ok and location was not the best for us. I wouldn't return or recommend.

A little tough to get to train station or airport due to traffic!
