Good position... the property doesn't appear to be well maintained... got to the room and the a/c had been leaking for a while... found water everywhere... not an ideal situation to be walking into at the start of our 2 night stay.

The room was clean, we loved having the double sliding doors to the balcony because it was having extra outside air in the evenings. Morning was nice on the balcony as well. The bed was a bit hard for me, but fine for my wife. The hot water must be tied into the neighboring room because I got cold spikes in the shower one of the mornings while I was the only one in our bathroom. The tv was only bright enough to see at night with the room dark, with no s available adjustments, but that worked out ok with our schedule. The staff was friendly and we were able to drop our bags before check-in which was wonderful. Thank you for a nice stay.

Clean room, the staff are nice and it’s central to everything.

Park Regis is a simple and we'll positioned property. Had everything I needed with a comfortable bed and very clean. While an older property, perfect for my stay

The room was clean and the staff friendly. Close to city ammenities. Little things could be improved such as the ironing board was semi-broken and no spare toilet rolls in the room.

Great room and convenient location.

A bit dated and some parts need attention (the towel rack in my shower was holding on by a prayer, the taps have the chrome worn off) but I do think that’s reflected in the price and I think the value is fair. There was a laundry machine in the unit and Park Regis provided detergent for a one load which was a pleasant surprise and great after 3 weeks of travel. It’s moments away from the end of the boardwalk, which will lead you by scenic waterfront to downtown Cairns, the marina and the esplanade. I did try to book a trip with the front desk as their lobby is stacked with various pamphlets and has signs encouraging visitors to book with them but was told I was better off doing it in my own which seemed a bit silly. There was also an absolute stack of rules, including a $100 fee for lost hotel cards. I asked a few friends who work in hospitality and no one had ever heard of that fee being expected of a visitor. Overall a good experience but a bit shy of great.

Great location and very well equipped and stocked room for basic hotel stay

No food, but there was a refrigerated and plates and utensils and ahot water pot with tea and coffee.
