The resort is very clean The staff is excellent The food is very good. A little outdated, but the place is kept impeccable.

Loved our upgraded suite it had 180 views of the ocean

The hotel seems to have a lot of fame, but it is certainly not worth the exorbitant price per night. The room itself was clean and the staff was extra helpful and kind. The downside, though, is that the pools are very "exposed" to the sun and the shade is almost non-existent. There are umbrellas but they are not too helpful. The beach has some beautiful private areas and we thought we could use them but the staff explained that there was an additional $300 per day for use of two chairs in the shade. That, on top of the $435 per night charge, and the $60 per night resort charge. This place does not feel like a resort at all. It feels like a very bare, very pricey place that no one goes to. I think there were maybe 20 guests total when we went. The pools - which are free- are not "wow" - they are your basic 3-star hotel pools you can find anywhere in and outside of Mexico. For this price I was expecting a much more luxurious experience. Overpriced and not worth it.

Pool service was excellent. Attentive and fast. Restaurants were good and food came out quickly, we did walk across the street to Porfirios as well so nice to have options close to property also.

Overall, my stay at the Kempinski was exceptional. The service, ambiance, and attention to detail truly stood out. The only minor drawback was the pillows, which could have been more comfortable. However, the hotel did offer alternative pillows upon request, so it wasn’t a major issue. I would still highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding quality and experience.

The best of the best. Amazing staff, food, cleanlilness, beach, rooms, pool, location… just all fantastic. Great time every time for years.

I've been returning to the Kempinski Cancún for years, and it continues to exceed expectations every single time. The staff are truly exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. The level of service across the board is what keeps me coming back. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, reflecting the high standards you'd expect from the Kempinski brand. Breakfast was a highlight with great variety, excellent quality, and a wonderful way to start each day. If you're looking for a property where the team goes above and beyond and every detail is taken care of, this is it. A consistently outstanding experience.
