I loved staying at Grand Oasis Cancún resort. It is abeutiful place to stay. My hotel room was very conveniently located and close to the beach, pool and buffet. The restaurants we re also very upscale. It is only the bathroom that needed renovation.

I was disappointed with my stay. Although the resort advertises itself as all-inclusive, many amenities come with extra charges. If you want a bed by the pool, you have to pay an additional fee, and even some of the nicer beach chairs require payment. That was very disappointing for an all-inclusive experience. Our room also had maintenance issues. The water pressure was very poor, and the bathroom faucets were broken, making them difficult to turn off. What concerned me the most was the customer service. We were traveling with children, and one of the bartenders treated them very rudely, making them feel unwelcome. The employee at the gelato station also seemed upset all the time and was not friendly. Overall, this was not the relaxing family vacation we expected. Between the extra charges, the room issues, and the poor service, I would not recommend this resort, especially for families with children.

Beach view was not to good, you see building roof then the ocean. Most employees were very short with customers not prepared. Service was not good! I would say we had 3 good waiters. Building needs to be updated electeicity was out for a few hours a day. We still had fun made the best of it. This hotel is for a stay of more than a few days it is to big so it takes time to get situated and know where things are.

We had a horrible experience with everything from check-in to room A/C not working, and the pool was hot, not even refreshing. They sell you an all-inclusive when in fact there are different levels of their all-inclusive, we had a "blue band" which only allowed us to eat at certain restaurants, and we couldn't request drinks be made with anything other than their cheap liquor, if you have a "black band" then you have access to more places to eat and you get the better alcohol. We were advised to make reservations for the Dos Lunas and Bahia Steak House and which it took a couple of days for there to be availability and then the Bahia Steakhouse was pretty much empty majority of the time we were seated. I would definitely pay extra to stay somewhere that is in fact all inclusive, and makes you feel like you are on vacation.

When you book they don't tell you there are different packages and is not all inclusive. You can only eat at certain restaurants. Our room was not ready at our 3 pm check in. Once we got a room, we found an opened condom wrapper in the drawer. We also found a used condom on the outside path. This hotel was not clean, too hot and food was terrible!

Don’t waste your money here. The place is falling apart and the food is mediocre. They make sure you feel uncomfortable so you would upgrade, but honestly the upgrade is just a tiny bit better. So you go from terrible to bad, not worth it at all. My daughter got food poisoning from the Mexican buffet. If you must go here, stick to the restaurants that requiere reservations or eat somewhere else. *The only positive thing was the concierge hence the one star.* We left grateful that we had a roof to sleep under but that was about it.
