Drawer of the table was chipped and scratchy. Neighborhood old houses were demolished and more than half a block is in the same process, so expect lots of heavy engine noise first thing in the morning even Sunday morning! Convenient location of bus stops, many metro stations, stores and restaurants are within walking distance.

The room is spacious. The washing machine and dining area are definitely a plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived at around 1 pm. Highly appreciated the early check-in and the smooth process in luggage storage after checkout. The location is close to Xintiandi shopping malls. We’ll stay there again if visiting Shanghai.

The facility is a bit aged and amenity is an bit outdated. The room is spacious and reasonably clean. Cleaning service is timely. Washer inside is big plus for a long duration trip.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day, and the cleaning crew was courteous. My husband and I stayed for six nights. We didn’t use the kitchen except for boiling water, but we used the washer and dryer three times. The washer-dryer was easy to use and laundry detergent was provided. Our standard room with a king size bed was spacious with easy to adjust air conditioning. The location is convenient with three different metro stations within walking distance. We’d love to stay at Riverdale Residence when we come back to ShangHai next time.

Large room with a kitchenette, washer/dryer. Room is not very clean with dust at every corner of the room and on the mirror in toilet. Would also prefer dispenser for shower gel and shampoo, rather than small individual tubes we get daily.
The washer/dryer works well and we made full use of it.
The best asset of the property is the staff who are all very polite and helpful. Would stay again if I visit Shanghai.
