Carpet poor

The man on reception was not very helpful. He would only do the bare minimum.

The bed was comfortable and the room had been refurbished.

Appreciated early check in. Walkable fistance to town. Appreciated lake view. A bit noisy at night woth passing traffic due to be reasoably close to main road.

Excellent staff helped with late checkin, unfortunately the place is old needs updating. Room smelt musty and needed a deep clean. Mould in bathroom, dusty dirty as behind furniture. Expected more for the price.

The pictures online are not what it looks like. It is not updated inside and very dated.The location is great to be able to walk into town and overlooking the lake. And there was limited free parking. The wifi does make you have to sign up for advertisements. This was our honeymoon, in hindsight for $100nz more we could have stayed in a nice hotel.

Good location, kitchen still in 70s

Upon arrival at motel at approx 7:30pm located motel and found reception to be closed. Note on window stated to refer to email for after hours check in instructions. Nil email received. Eventually located key in envelope. Checked into room to find room to be in poor condition. Furniture poor quality as if collected from op shop or hard rubbish. Hard to sit on couch. Bathroom appears clean however nil soap supplied to wash hands. Toilet emmits weird cheesy smell making if difficult to be in the room. Instant lawn on balcony area pulled back and flipped over on half of the balcony. Will give points for clean sheets/ bedding, However thin they were. Points also for view. Great location with an excellent view. Paid $266 for the one night. Motel needs updating.

On the lower end of budget accommodation and very overpriced. The beds were clean - so ok for one night but the kitchen/bathroom lneexed complete replacement. Noisy main road out front. Same site as lakeside backpackers, lakefront motel and lakeside apartments. Close to the lake and town for shopping and restaurants.
