The staff was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. VERY peaceful place. Limited food for the season but the food was good. I'd stay here again.

My husband and I stayed in multiple hotels during our trip to Iceland, but this was by far the very best experience we had.
The staff was so friendly and genuinely seemed to care about the guests, which was refreshing. Breakfast each morning was tasty and greatly appreciated, and it was a wonderful way to begin the day by eating in the dining room with a beautiful view of the lake and distant mountains.
The room was large and comfortable. My favorite part was the shower because it didn't leave me feeling claustrophobic!
When we return to Iceland, this will be our go-to hotel for sure!

最高 Excellent location for a quiet getaway. We'll definitely stay here again. Michael's cod is superb!
Just be aware though, this is a 20-minute ride from downtown which works out to about a $45 USD cab fare

The check-in process couldn’t have been better. Everyone at the front desk who also doubled as the waiter for dinner as well as setting up the breakfast buffet. We’re super helpful and very courteous. When I come back to Iceland, I will stay here again without a question.
