Every summer, I travel to Taipei for two months and stay in many different hotels! I feel that the staff at the Hotel Uketamo are different from other hotels. They treat you like friends and family without any commercialism! It's very comfortable here, and I'm having a great time.

Loved this hotel! Stayed 8 nights and wishing I could have stayed longer. A well managed, clean, comfortable, quiet, understated, modern jewel. Front desk staff (thanks, Johnny) and housekeepers are lovely and welcoming. (Room lighting needs rethinking, though. Frustrating lack of individual control for the various fixtures.) Highly recommended!

Great central location, very good service and calm Japanese style hotel. The breakfast healthy and all made to order.

New hotel. Cleanliness is exceptional Staff on duty, especially during our late check-in was on point. Remarkable customer service. Good location, close to Sogo department store. Easy access by subway to other places of interest

Very very new and clean room which is hard to come by in such a central location. Right next to sogo and subway station. Very zen feel and peaceful hotel. Will definitely stay here again..we walked back from 大巨蛋after sun yanzi concert 😁

A nice little oasis in the city

Very clean with nice central location near parks, shopping and restaurants

What truly sets Hotel Uketamo apart is the staff. Their attention to detail is staggering—they seemed to anticipate our needs before we even realized we had them. Every single person we interacted with was warm, genuine, and deeply committed to making our stay perfect. Because they knew it was our anniversary, they went entirely above and beyond. We walked into our room to find the most adorable, intricately folded towel animals waiting for us on the bed! But the absolute highlight of their personalized service was gifting us a custom caricature. It was such a fun, hilarious, and thoughtful keepsake that captured the joy of our trip perfectly. It’s those quirky, deeply personal touches that make a hotel truly unforgettable.
