The location was so close to the beach and right in the middle of all the best eating and coffee spots. 24 hour laundry and transportation access were excellent perks along with a Wednesday surprise entertainment in the lobby. This hotel is a real gem in Waikiki’s heart.

Clean and comfortable

This is an older hotel which is why we booked it. Been locally owned since the 1950’s. But we loved everything about it. From the local Hawaiian atmosphere to the old dishes used in our kitchenette to the local Hawaiian music played in the lobby on Wednesday nights. It was perfect. Noisy because the street in front is so busy and the doors and windows are older so they don’t keep out much of the noise. I turned on white noise on my phone and that helped but I would recommend earplugs.

The best aspect of this hotel is its perfect location, 1 block from Waikiki Beach. Towels, boogie boards etc are available. For a budget conscious traveler, it is adjacent to a food truck court. Very low key and relaxed. Good for those who want to spend most of their time on the beach or exploring, and only need a bed and shower. If you want to spend your day at the hotel, look for a resort type of accomodation. The staff were very kind and welcoming.

it’s a good hotel and the staff is super nice and helpful. only thing is that the rooms do not look like the pictures i saw but besides that it was great.

Needs remodeling and new staff. Lady at front desk very rude. Great location!
